lg1Jesus said, “Love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, and with all your mind and all your strength.  This is the first and greatest commandment.” (Matthew 22:37—38) To Love God is the most important thing a human can do. To give God my worship when we gather together, to ask God to transform my heart, my soul, my mind and my strength. We believe loving God means becoming passionate worshipers and devoted students. We worship not to be entertained but because God calls us to worship and God transforms us through worship.

In this class, we will explore what it means to “Love God” through worship. We’ll explore both corporate worship and private worship.  We’ll learn about spiritual disciplines and why they are so necessary to our journey together.  We’ll understand and learn the value of daily prayer, read scripture as a means to spiritual growth, and understand why we tithe. We’ll learn about the Sacraments and Elements of Worship, committing together to practice spiritual disciplines daily, and worship regularly.

Registration is not required for our classes, but is strongly recommended so that we have plenty of materials and appropriate space. If you do not register for a class, please come anyway! We always plan on a few more.
