10:30, Meet in the parlor.  “Three Simple Questions: Knowing the God of Love, Hope and Purpose,” by Rueben P. Job—Who is God, who am I, and who are we together?  How we answer these questions has a profound impact on what we believe, how we live, and how we relate to others.

Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.
Anyone who would like support in facing life's daily trials is welcome to join us. All meetings begin at 1:30 and last about 90 minutes.  Please contact the church office (630-879-7060) if you need transportation.

L.I.F.E.
(Living In Freedom Every Day)
L.I.F.E. Ministries is a support group for men, offering Christ-centered and relationally oriented meetings that incorporate spiritual Discipline, small group accountability and ongoing prayer and support for those who struggle with issues of sexual integrity.
L.I.F.E. group shows men how to replace unhealthy behaviors with healthy ones - namely by building honest relationships with other men in the context of a broader relationship with Christ. L.I.F.E. is a safe place for those relationships to begin.
Strict confidentiality is kept to protect all who attend. L.I.F.E. meets in the Parlor on the third floor, Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. For more information contact Pastor Gary. (630-272-5939)

David: Seeking A Heart Like HIs, by Beth Moore

God will never give up on you!  Explore how David's life proves this through the study of David: Seeking a Heart Like His by Beth Moore.
 Join us as we explore the "man after God's own heart," David will delight and disappoint you.  If you've ever experienced doubt, temptation, loss, family problems, or personal inconsistencies, this study is for you! 
Our study begins Monday March 19, this is an 11 week study.
All women are welcome!

Thursday Bible Study - 10:00-Noon in the church parlor

James: Mercy Triumphs, by Beth Moore

Join the Women of Batavia United Methodist Church as we begin the study of the life of Jesus’ brother James.  The examination of James’ life and the Book of James will reveal how one glimpse of the resurrected Christ will change your life. 
Topics include joy, hardship, faith, gifts from above, humility and prayer.
Through DVD and workbook pages, Beth Moore, best selling writer of books and Bible studies, leads an 8 week journey designed for women through God’s word and discover the path from skeptic to true believer in the life of James.

December 7, 14 and 21, at 9:30 a.m. in the church parlor for this fun and informative class. You are welcome to attend any one, or all of the classes. Childcare will be provided by request. Join Michelle Kazlauski and the Adult Sunday school class, Sundays at
